Brush Cleaning

Hello Beauties,

brush cleaning - a pretty important routine as dirty brushes can clog your pores. For cleaning my brushes I simply use baby shampoo and warm water. For drying I put them head (brush) down on a towel to avoid getting the handle wet.

Do you use any special brush cleaners? Do you have any tips for me?

Bürsten sauber machen - eine super wichtige Routine für alle Make-upsüchtigen unter uns, weil dreckige Pinsel einfach eure Poren verkleben können und somit Hautunreinheiten provozieren. Zum Saubermachen meiner Bürsten nutze ich einfach nur Babyshampoo und warmes Wasser. Zum Trocknen lege ich die Bürsten auf ein Handtuch, welches ich an einem Ende zusammen rolle. Die Bürsten liegen dann mit dem Bürstenkopf nach unten und dem Bürstenstiel nach oben damit die Kante, wo Bürste und Stiel aufeinander treffen nicht feucht werden.

Hi Beauties, today it's all about the "Cinderella" limited edition by Essence. The swatches are from left to right the shades 01 - 04 and the right one is a lovely, a bit purple shimmery topper.

I'm so in love with these two blushes! Having an absolute blush crush :)

Both are LE's from Essence: the pink one is from the #secretparty LE and the one with the roses is from the LE brit-tea. Haven't swatted them yet as they are ways to pretty to touch them ;-)

Ich bin sooooo verliebt in diese beiden wunderschönen Rouges aus der Limited Edition von Essence!! Der pinke ist aus der #secretparty LE und der mit dem Rosenmuster ist aus der LE brit-tea. Swatches gibt es leider noch keine, da ich bisher mich noch nicht getraut habe mit den Fingern in den beiden zu matschen, da sie einfach soooo hübsch anzuschauen sind ;-)

this is my new favourite lipstick combo. I first apply the sticky, matte sleek lipstick and than the Revlon Colourbust to get a shiny, smooth tone. Love it for summer. So fresh. What do you think? What are your Lipstick Favs for summer? :)

hier seht ihr meine neue Lieblingslippenstiftkombi. Zuerst trage ich den gut haftenden, matten Lippenstift von Sleek auf und dann, für ein schönes, schimmerndes Finish den Colourbust von Revlon. Ich liebe diese Kombi für den Sommer. Was haltet ihr davon? Was sind eure Lieblingslippies für den Sommer? :)

Swatches Makeup Revolution ICONIC 3 Eyeshadow Palette

Hello Beauties,

these eyeshadow palette collections (Iconic 1-3) are very nice dupes of the Urban Decay "Naked" ones.

The colours are pretty good pigmented and have a good long-lastingness.

Some shades crumble a bit but for the price you get overall a pretty good quality and a great dupe.

Sleek - i-Quad Midnight Blues - Limited Edition

Hello Beauties,

this is a new Sleek limited edition called MIDNIGHT BLUES. It contains 3 eyeshadows and 1 eyeliner. It comes in different colours and styles. This is the one that conquered my heart. ;-)

"Dream a Little" is a pretty light, little bit shiny eye shadow

"Deep Sky"is pretty nice to blend and is good pigmented

"Smoke Lightening" is nice for adding a bit smoke to the look

The set contains one applicator for the eyeshadows and one brush for the eyeliner.

The eyeliner "High Octave" is a lovely dark blue and my absolute favourite of this palette.

Summarised this is a lovely product for a good price! The colours are a bit more special than the typical "Smokey Eyes Ones" and absolutely adorable. Available at superdrug.

Review Amazing Volume Mascara Makeup Revolution London

Hello Ladies,

as you maybe know already I am a big fan of Makeup Revolution products - except this mascara. The brush itself is pretty nice but it just picks up too much mascara. It's like a huge lump of mascara. Tried it more times but it still didn't make me happy. So, unfortunately, his is a product I can't really recommend.

wie ihr vielleicht schon mitbekommen habt bin ich ein absoluter Fan der Marke Makeup Revolution London. Aber dieser Amazing Volume Mascara ist leider eine Ausnahme. Die Bürste an sich ist OK, aber es klumpt leider massenhaft Wimperntusche an ihr, die sich kaum abstreifen lässt. Ich habe den Mascara mehrfach versucht zu nutzen, den klumpigen Teil abzustreifen... aber immer wieder klumpte noch mehr am Bürstchen. Vielleicht habe ich einfach nur ein Montagsprodukt erwischt aber ich bin nicht zufrieden und kann euch dieses Produkt daher leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Brow Game on the Go

Hello Beauties,

I absolutely love this Makeup Revolution "I heart Makeup" BROWS KIT. It's an awesome buddy for each journey and fits easily in each makeup bag.

 The kit contains 3 different shades to colour your brows and a non-colour wax to form the brows as well as the equipment needed. An absolute recommendation.

For everyday use I prefer the "bigger brother" "Bulletproof" but this I don't wanna miss any more! :)

Sleek Highlighting Palette

Hello Beauties, today it's all about the Sleek Highlighting Palette "Precious Metals 029" - an absolute recommendation. You can apply the different shades easily on cheeks, eyes, beneath the brows - wherever you want. They are absolutely easy to blend. As they are quite shiny beginners should maybe use this product better with care as you could apply too much :) but all-together this is an awesome product for a good price! Available at superdrug.

Hallo ihr Hübschen. Heute dreht sich alles um die Highlighting Palette "Precious Metals 029" von Sleek. Eine absolute Empfehlung meinerseits. Sie enthält 4 verschiedene Farben und ist absolut einfach auf Wangen, Augen, unterhalb der Brauen - wo immer ihr wollt - aufzutragen. Die Farben lassen sich einfach verblenden. Allerdings sind sie stark schimmernd weshalb Schminkanfänger ggf. ein bisschen bei der Dosierung aufpassen sollten um nicht zu viel zu erwischen und im Glitziglitzi zu verschwinden :) Alles in allem ein absolut solides, gutes Produkt für einen tollen Preis! In England erhältlich bei Superdrug. In Deutschland online erhältlich.
